Rachael Schilthuis
Osteopathy
Rachael is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. She has also earned a degree in Cognitive Science of Language at McMaster University and has a background in neuroscience, kinesiology, and personal training.
Rachael’s initial experiences with osteopathy were as a patient for concussion and sports injuries. Her body was restored to greater health and self-regulation in unexpected and remarkable ways, including and unrelated to the injuries she sought care for. She realized then that this was the career she would pursue to fulfill her passion for health, healing, and helping others.
Each patient has personal and specific needs and challenges. Rachael is dedicated to finding out what is required to achieve better health and self-healing for each individual. Her assessment and treatments are guided by the principles of anatomy and structure-function relationships in the body. Her osteopathic treatments identify the body’s dysfunction and treat the underlying cause rather than the symptoms of misalignment. All body systems will be considered during treatment, including musculoskeletal, nerve, artery, vein, and lymphatic tissues, in order for each patient to obtain optimal health through restored motion.
Rachael’s practice is a compassionate, respectful, and inclusive space where all are welcome. She is looking forward to working with you!

Christine Penney
Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
I started as a psychiatric nurse but found my passion when I became a lactation consultant (IBCLC). Helping families through such a personal and essential part of early parenthood has been incredibly rewarding. My background in mental health has been an enormous help, especially when it comes to the emotional ups and downs of the postpartum period—both in my own experience and when supporting others.
My interest in this work took off after facing my breastfeeding challenges. That experience made me want to be there for others with empathy and encouragement. A big part of my journey has been working in rural areas, where access to specialized care can be tough. It’s work that truly matters to me, and I love that I get to make a real difference while having an outstanding work-life balance.
You’ll usually find me outside when I’m not working, biking with my boys, or reading on my Kindle. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and getting to support even more families on their journeys.

Becky Soehner
Sleep Educator
Certified Infant Sleep Educator, Baby Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist
Becky is a twice certified Infant Sleep Specialist, postpartum doula, and mom of two. Her introduction to the world of infant and child sleep began during her first pregnancy when she attended a prenatal sleep education class. It was eye opening to gain knowledge and insight on normal infant sleep behaviours and the science behind it, beyond the anecdotal stories and general sleep assumptions in our society.
Parenting a very challenging sleeper fueled her passion to help other families navigate the rollercoaster of infant and child sleep. Parents so often question if their baby’s behaviour is normal, and how to sort through the conflicting information out there. She provides parents with the knowledge and reassurance around what is normal, tools to implement during challenging times, and strategies for striking a balance between the fundamental needs of baby and the equally as important wellbeing of the parents.
Becky’s approach is supportive of all types of feeding, co-sleeping, bedsharing and nurturing a healthy and secure attachment. Her sleep calls focus on educating parents in what is developmentally normal and expected for each stage of sleep through the first year and beyond. Each child is unique and every family is different, so all sleep support is customized, working together with parents to create a strategy that works best for them and aligns with their values. Rest assured that YOU are doing an amazing job as a parent, and allow Becky to guide you through the ups and downs of sleep!
