I plan to continue to keep learning and adding to my knowledge and experience to best help you.

I have a beautiful daughter of my own, and after experiencing the changes mentally, physically and spiritually throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey, I am even more driven to help ease and support you throughout yours.

Kimberley Webb

Instructors

Hi! I’m Kimberley Webb-Gilbert. I have been a movement instructor specializing in a whole-person approach to fitness since 2013, when I completed my first yoga teacher training. In the years since, I have completed training and certification in Pilates mat, group fitness, barre, and strength training, specializing in the pre and post-natal period.

Using the tools of breath work, alignment, and connection tools, we can build sustainability into your movement practice in private sessions or group classes.  We can work to prepare you mentally, emotionally, and physically for the demands of life, whether they are pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, parenthood, or beyond. Let’s help you become an expert in what you need to gain strength and resilience!

What are your values around exercise and movement? Let’s figure it out so you can do more of what brings you joy!

Full disclaimer, though… I am anti-diet culture, so no talk of shredding abs, getting your pre-baby body back, or fixing you happens around here.

Let’s go on this journey together and train for the event of a lifetime and a lifetime of events!

Christine Brown

Lactation Counsellor

Hi, I’m Christine, and I am a certified childbirth educator & Certified Lactation Counsellor. In my prior schooling, I focused on early childhood education (RECE) & children’s mental health. I also have an Honours BSc in biological sciences, where I enjoyed developmental biology, nutrition, and psychology courses.

I am a mom to a busy four and a 1-year-old. My four-year-old sparked my urge to bring more education to the perinatal world after feeling a bit lost during my birthing experience. Education can be very empowering, and my ultimate goal is to empower parents-to-be and postpartum parents through their journey.

When I’m not talking about babies, you can find me teaching children in nature, climbing trees, baking, or going on adventures with my kiddos.

I believe that parents need support throughout the journey and that postpartum doesn’t stop at six weeks. I am excited to share my knowledge with those in The WOMB!

Jess Salt

Administration

Hi there! I’m Jess. I have worked in the administrative field for eight years in private clinics and a not-for-profit organization that provides services for children with special needs and their families. I recently started a new career path as an Education Assistant Apprentice with the Bluewater District School Board and have enjoyed working with kiddos from JK to Grade 8.

I was born and raised in London and moved to Grey Bruce in 2020 with my husband. We welcomed our daughter in 2021 and have been enjoying the slower pace of living and close community connections in a small town while raising her.

I am a holistic enthusiast and have been on a journey to learn and implement a more natural-based lifestyle for the last few years.

I am compassionate and caring and won’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with someone new or offer a hug to anyone in need.

I feel so fortunate to be the first person you will see when you walk in the door, and I can’t wait to start this new journey! I am so excited to meet all of the practitioners and wonderful families at The Womb!
