Our Doula Collective

The WOMB Doulas are a team of dedicated professionals committed to providing expectant and new parents with exceptional emotional, physical, and educational support, love and service. We provide support both in the home or hospital, medicated or unmedicated, vaginal or caesarean births. We work alongside Midwives, Family Physicians, or Obstetricians to give families the best collaborative care possible.

WHY HIRE A DOULA?

In the past, childbearing women were surrounded by a commUNITY of female relatives, friends, and neighbours who had experienced childbirth themselves. These women provided practical assistance, emotional support, and valuable advice based on their own experiences. Historically, people had elders and whole communities to help them with a new baby…
Today, we have Doulas.

SERVICES

Our Doulas are dedicated to providing personalized care, guidance, and advocacy throughout your pre-conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Whether you’re a first-time parent or growing your family, we’re here to ensure you feel empowered, informed and nurtured every step of the way.

  • (In)Fertility Doulas
    Our Fertility Support Doulas are trained professionals who provide preconception support to individuals and their partners.
  • Birth Doulas
    Birth Doulas bring non-medical, non-judgmental informational, emotional, and physical support to the time around labour and birth.
  • Postnatal Doulas
    A Postnatal/Postpartum Doula supports the parents once the baby has arrived, whether it’s a single shift or regular weekly support. This time is dedicated to healing, recovery, and rest.
